***PLEASE NOTE***: This model was originally released in ~2018 as VL1928-0008 (versus this newer R008)-1622. That model was embossed with 'Made in France' on the side. Final assembly possibly was, but this particular model is now at least fully assembled/finished in Italy. No shame in that, they are probably the best country worldwide for eyewear manufacturing. 'Made in Italy' is printed on the right temple. At the time of writing, Vuarnet are still showing the old image of the 0008 colour version. As we use their photos and in the full interest of transparency, we (somewhat crudely 😅) airbrushed the 'Made in France' off the older image because we are only offering here the newer version.
