Our Nitty Gritty Conditioning Defence Spray doesn't just keep your hair in great condition, it also messes up their 'radar'; by masking your hair's unique aroma it encourages head lice to stay on their existing host rather than migrate.
After you have used our award-winning Nitty Gritty NitFree Comb to clear an infestation, we recommend daily use of our Nitty Gritty Conditioning Defence Spray for all the family above the age of two. It's a carefully chosen blend of ingredients with a lovely grapefruit scent, that will not only keep those pesky lice at bay but keeps everyone's hair fragranced, soft, shiny, de-tangled and in tip-top condition.

Before use, check hair is free from lice. If there is evidence of head lice, we recommend you first use the Nitty Gritty Aromatherapy Head Lice Kit. Spray Nitty Gritty generously on hair from a distance of about 12", paying particular attention to the areas behind the ears, nape of the neck and on the crown. The amount needed will vary depending on hair length. Allow to dry naturally. Use on a regular basis.
You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.Keep out of reach of children. In the case of an allergic reaction, discontinue use. Avoid contact with eyes. Please consult doctor if using on child under the age of two. Not to be taken internally. Keep out of direct sunlight.
If your product arrives damaged please contact us within 3 days of receipt and we will arrange a replacement or refund. We may try to assess the fault before allowing you to return the item, please be patient. If your purchase is unsatisfactory return the goods to us within 30 days of their receipt, in the original undamaged packaging and in a re-saleable condition. Return postage costs will not be refunded.

If you would like it sooner, you can select Royal Mail First Class for an additional charge.
Royal Mail First Class usually arrives within 1-2 days and Royal Mail Second Class usually arrives within 2-3 days, but rarely, delays can occur with postage. If you are looking to have an item urgently, please choose Royal Mail Special delivery. The only Royal Mail service guaranteed to arrive on time is Royal Mail Special delivery.
We promise to have your item dispatched (Packed and handed to Royal Mail) the same day if you order before 1pm Monday to Friday and funds are cleared, but please remember, once the item has been dispatched, it is in the hands of Royal Mail and we put our trust in them to deliver swiftly.
Depending on the value of your transaction, we may upgrade you for free to Royal Mail Tracked Delivery.
Next day Service
Next day delivery service is available by purchasing Royal Mail special delivery. This would be delivered by either Royal Mail or DPD. All purchases for next day delivery must be purchased before 1 pm and funds must be cleared in order for item to be dispatched for next day delivery.

International Shipping
Items posted international are posted with Royal Mail Standard International, Royal Mail Tracked/Signed service or one of our selected couriers depending on the service you choose at checkout, value and weight of your order. Items are dispatched (Packed and handed to Royal Mail or our selected courier) the same day as long as purchase is made before 1pm UK time Monday to Friday. Items posted international usually take 3-5 days within Europe and 7-10 days outside Europe with Royal Mail. Items can however take up to 3 weeks if there are delays with the post.
Custom charges
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office or tax authority for information specific to your situation. Additionally, when ordering from us, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Next day delivery service
DHL express chosen at checkout most likely arrive next day depending on country location and custom. Item must be purchased before 1pm with funds cleared Monday to Friday. We will use one of our selected couriers, .depending on your country location and custom goods
Discount on postage
If you look to purchase other items from our shop, we might be able to combine postage cost depending on weight and size of items.
