Huile sur toile, titrée sur le châssis et portant la mention du peintre Louis RORCOURT PINXIT (pinxit mot latin signifiant « a peint », contrefaisant, par cela, les habitudes du peintre Raphaël).  Format 21 × 30 cm. Quelques restaurations discrètes en périphérie.
D’une autre écriture on lit « Groenendal», mauvaise orthographe de «Groenendael». Le prieuré de Groenendael est un ancien monastère de chanoines augustins, fondé vers 1343 dans la forêt de Soignes, en Brabant, à 14 km au sud-est de Bruxelles.

Vu la valeur du tableau et sa fragilité, il est préférable de le prendre à domicile sans affranchissement et sans emballage à Auxerre (autoroute).
