Easter bunny candy container is an eight inch tall German made item imported by D. Blumchen & Co. in the 1990s.  Its construction is in the style of bobbing head figures from earlier years and incorporates characteristic features found in openable candy containers of pre war times.  Such containers were often imported and used by U. S. candy makers as marketing tools at holidays.
