Xcelite SN55VN Long Nose Pliers, Side Cutting, 5"The Xcelite® SN55VN 5" Long Nose Side Cutting Pliers with standard beveled edge and serrated jaws are designed for reaching into confined areas. Use these pliers on 20-gauge steel wire (90,000-psi) and 18-gauge steel wire with 200,000 psi. They feature a polished head and green cushioned grips. Cutting edges are machine ground and electronically hardened for extended life. The head is forged from high-quality alloy steel for maximum strength and durability. Patented copper alloy rivet construction provides smooth operation. A smooth, easy-working, corrosion-proof joint maintains perfect cutting edge and tip alignment to maximize operational consistency. It is precision ground to close tolerances, individually finished and tested to ensure exact fit of jaws. The tool is 5-1/2" (139.7 mm) long. It has 1-11/16" (42.5 mm) head height, 17/32" (13.4 mm) head width, 9/32" (7.09 mm) thickness and tip: 5/64 (3.25 mm)x 1/16" (1.57 mm).
