I've narrowed this down to 3 Ben Townsends, One from Manchester, one from Wales and one who left the US to come to the UK and sign up for the West Riding Regiment.

Small sticker on the reverse is from a previous owner but I believe it just 'cryptically' confirms the research I did and the 3 Bens I found independently.
