Original Impressionist/Realist style painting of a classic still life, with a plum and antique silver pot. Textured, impasto paintwork and visible brush-strokes, typical of Impressionistic works makes this a timeless piece. Total measurements are 6x8 inches/15x20cm on an mdf panel. Frame not included. I returned to painting in 2013, mostly daily painting in oils on a small scale so I can finish the picture in one sitting (alla prima).  I prepare the panels myself, with the highest quality artist's materials, and only use the finest oil paints and varnishes to ensure longevity of the works. Most of my paintings are from life, painting direct from the objects arranged in front of my easel, although I do paint outside too (en plein air) and sometimes from photographs, or watercolour sketches I have made. Combined postage at minimal costs is no problem, just let me know !
