Prototype IMU Inertial Measurment unit Guidance Star Wars Laser Space Rocket. Not sure what it is but looks like a space ship Satellite or some laser????? Bought at Swapmeet and came out of an aerospace engineer estate sale. It swivels and turns on all axis.  It has a small crack and it should be easy to glue. It was professionally built and shows quality workmanship. It has a lot of molded parts and looking at the wooden base, I would say it is from the eighties if not seventies!!! It has a lot of flat head and allen head screws. Mostly some type of plastic or composite material. Actual weight 4.5 lbs. Base is 12x9" and 9" in height. Looks to me like a IMU (inertial measurement unit)/Guidance system mockup. With an alignment/arc second laser for a rocket. Usually for larger rockets. This would be the inside guts.
