This auction is for a fabulous Antique Salvaged Painted Block!  I got this recently from a local estate in Cambridge, Mass. and I don't know much about it. The previous owner (in her 80s) hung it on the wall for decoration so there is a hook on the back. I believe she got it from her artist mother, maybe on international travels, so I think it is quite old.  It is about 17" x 7"" about 3/4" thick.  Check out the photos!
