This light as you can see from the pictures has a ribbed glass shade supported on a steel wire from the supplied ceiling rose. 

The shade itself is semi-silvered, this means it reflects light, when the light is of giving a pleasing effect of looking solid and metalic. When th elight is on it passes through the shade showing the souce and that the shade is actually glass. 

A very elegant light, which I have classed as antique silver, dur toy it being a dark silver / steel colour. it has a black electric cable that runs by the support cable, while the ceiling rose is metal with a dark plated finish. 

the only place i have found still selling this at the time of writing is Able and maude at a price of £79 with postage extra, so offered here I feel at a good price for a quality light, with shipping included.
