Description: You are looking at a gorgeous Fox Hunt Equestrian Scene Humidor/Cookie Jar in Limoges style.  This beautiful reproduction piece is brand new and is marked “Limoges” on the bottom.  It features a snapshot of a traditional English scene: hunting dogs and horse riders, caught in the midst of a hot chase during a fox hunt.  This jar is very well made and has a lot of detail – just look at the intricate gold accents and a scrolling gilt leaf border on the lid.  The bottom part of the jar has a double rim enhanced with a contrasting combination of the dark green and maroon colors with gold accents.  The gold finish of the finial top completes the stunning design of this spectacular display item.  This jar measures 6.5” high x 5.5” wide.  It will look great in a Study or a Library and will make a spectacular display item for a dresser or a curio cabinet.  Or place it on a nightstand and use it as a keepsake box to store your favorite keepsakes.  This jar will be a great addition to your equestrian style collection.  Needless to say, it will make a terrific, unique gift.

This is a brand new item, but I had to open its box to inspect the contents and add more shipping material to secure the jar for shipment.
