When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business. 

From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!

 This is a beautiful antique/vintage Oval Mother of Pearl/Abalone Stone.

It has the design of a Bird on a Flowering Branch inlaid with other stones/abalone.

This measures approx. 1 1/8" x just under 7/8".

It has some minor scratches on the back from sitting in a box for all of these years.
