A estate collection 1847 Rogers Bros antique silver plate beaded ladle with gold washed bowl is in very good antique condition. The lovely Victorian ladle from 1895 measures 7 1/4”. In a history of monogramming personal objects, well-to-do families of the Victorian era monogrammed flatware and holloware pieces liberally display their status, applying these marks to household items including tableware. The “H” monogram on this very nice gravy ladle makes this piece a ready-made, tasteful, perfect little gift for special occasions or to offer appreciation or a thank you in the business arena. The gold-washed interior of the ladle’s bowl is intact with a very visible, slight spot of discoloration on the surface front, right. The back of the spoon’s bowl has small scratches, and the heel mark is very slight. This ladle is an example of a sophisticated, proper table serving piece that will compliment pieces in any other silver plate collection. Shipped with USPS First Class Mail.
