Q1: What is the normal use temperature?

A1: The operating temperature should be controlled at about 60 degrees. Excessive temperatures can damage the dishwasher.

Q2: Why does everyone say that this heating element will cause the dishwasher to melt?

A2: Dishwasher melting may have the following reasons:

1: The temperature of the dishwasher is too high, and it is better to control it normally at 60 degrees;

2: The heating element is not properly shaped, and some parts are too close to the dishwasher, resulting in a high degree of long-term melting of the dishwasher.

To fix this, you need to reshape the heating element and readjust the metal clips that support the element so that each part of the heating element is greater than 1Inch from the bottom of the dishwasher.

3: You can buy tin foil and put it on the bottom of the heating element to prevent melting.

Q3: What if the filter element may not be heated enough or not heated at all?

A3: This is because the dishwasher's computer balances with the old filter element or detects a malfunction and cannot be used.

To fix this, you need to run a test/reset of the dishwasher system so the computer can test the new element coil resistance and enable it again for use. To do this on many machines, you need to turn it off (no plate or soup on it) and press 3 consecutive buttons in sequence (anyone but cancel) in less than 30 seconds (123, 123, 123) 3 times. In my case you can see in the picture:

"Choose Cycle" and "Choose Options"

This will light up all the lights, indicating that testing and calibration is in progress, and run the wash cycle when it's done ready to use (no dishes or soup on it). Sometimes it may take 2 runs to work.
