Circa 1746 Willem Blaeu antique map of Huntingdonshire / Huntingdonesis Comitatus - Huntington Shire

Description:

This tremendous map is quite striking and has a lot going on: The title cartouche is flanked by two hunters, their 4 hunting dogs, hunting falcon and their successfully hunted quarry.  There are also several royal crests and nine coats of arms - held aloft by putti/cherubs.  The reverse of the map has a description of Huntingdonshire in French.

Condition: 

Overall, excellent condition.  This fine original map has the central fold you would expect on any two page atlas map, very minimal staining and/or browning and some pencil markings in the margins.  Exactly as pictured!
