** MIGHTY MORPHIN’ POWER RANGERS: THE MOVIE is a 1995 American superhero film.

It stars the ensemble cast of Karan Ashley, Johnny Yong Bosch, Steve Cardenas, Jason David Frank, Amy Jo Johnson, and David Yost alongside the villains cast from the original series and Paul Freeman as Ivan Ooze. Much like the television season that followed the release, it used concepts from the Japanese Super Sentai series Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, Gosei Sentai Dairanger and Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. It is the first Power Rangers production from Saban Entertainment not to feature any archived footage from Super Sentai. It is the first installment in Power Rangers film series. The film was released in between the second and third seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, but is incompatible with season three, which provides a different explanation for the Rangers gaining their Ninja Ranger powers and Ninjazords, indicating they are set in different continuities.

Mighty Morphin POWER RANGERS: Once & Always NEW TV SERIES will DEBUT streaming on NETFLIX on April 19, 2023;

** It’s Morphin Time for the original Power Rangers! Several actors who starred in the first few seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the mid-1990s are suited up and back to action for the 30th anniversary special, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always.

** Netflix released the official trailer that starts with an intense battle against the returned Rita Repulsa. After her actions have tragic consequences, original Black Ranger Zack (Walter Jones) and Blue Ranger Billy (David Yost), call on second Pink Ranger Kat (Catherine Sutherland) and second Red Ranger Rocky (Steve Cardenas) to stop Rita from using a dangerous time portal.

** The trailer features some of the classic bulky suit villains and Putties the team faced on the original show, the Angel Grove Youth Center, Trini’s daughter Minh (Charlie Kersh), and a cameo by second Yellow Ranger Aisha (Karan Ashley) and second Black Ranger Adam (Johnny Yong Bosch) who appear to be working on another important mission.

** Along with the Power Rangers stars, the special will also reunite them with Rita Repulsa actress Barbara Goodson and Alpha 5 voice actor Richard Horvitz.

** The Mighty Morphin POWER RANGERS franchise premiered in the USA in 1993 as an adaptation of the Japanese Super Sentai Series.

Since then, the franchise about teenage superheroes in color coded costumes has seen multiple theme-based series running continuously.

** The previous was Power Rangers Beast Morphers, ended in late 2020.

** The series has also had three movies, starting with 1995’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, followed by Turbo, and the 2017’s Power Rangers.
