3 photo illustrated articles from a scarce Edwardian 1902 periodical the first article is entitled "The Stroh Violin" 3 pages by D Donovan Very interesting article discussing the amplified instrument which was invented by John Matthias Augustus Stroh in 1899 Several photographic illustrations including - Being played Trumpet or resonator In its case Vibrating diaphragm Rocking bridge and lever The Stroh violin The second article is entitled "Some Wonders from the West An Old Mens Singing club - 2 pages by E Leslie Gilliams Very interesting article concerning the "Old Men's Singing Club of Almeda California USA with 2 photographic illustrations Officers and organizers of the club Senora Benina Barone who at 13 is a charming dancer and singer (only female member of the club) The last article is entitled "A Train load of two Million Eggs" single page discussing "The most remarkable cargo in the world shipped from Newton Kansas to San Fransisco CONDITION Please note these are genuine actual pages extracted from a rare periodical. Whilst the images show the article in its still bound state, the article will be sent as loose pages.
