Keys: Much cheaper than the locksmith! Get the original here!

Got an antique trunk or cabinet that you can't lock like you want it, or worse, one you can't even open? Well this might be the key to your problems!

Please read carefully!

Most locks have the maker name printed somewhere on them, even on trunk and cabinet locks. Usually a small number code can be found punched or etched into the metal which corresponds with the proper matching key. If this number isn't visible on the front of the lock, it can sometimes be found on the back. Otherwise it's possible no number was provided or it has been worn off over time. Likely a locksmith will be required at that point.

If your lock is a Corbin lock, and matches the number in this listing, it's very likely that the key will work!
These keys are approximately a century old, and so are the locks they were made for. You would be surprised how much dirt and crud can build up inside a lock overtime. DONT Force the Key! If it doesn't turn easily, spray some preferably non-toxic (mineral oil or biodegradable light oils), metal-safe oil into the lock (I use Ballistol personally) and follow reputable cleaning instructions you can find online. Personally, if the lock is big enough, I spray in oil, wipe inside with a cotton swab, and repeat until the swabs become much less dirty when removed. Then, try the key gently again. If you have an open barrel type key, it's possible that gunk has gotten trapped inside and is not allowing the key to sit fully into the lock; so if key hasn't worked try spraying some of the light oil down the tube and then scrubbing with cotton swabs before trying again gently. It really should work  but if it doesn't then it's likely either the lock is broken, rusted out, or the key is not actually a match. At this point a lock smith may be required, or a re-examination of the lock numbers that may have been misinterpreted.

Returns (Please Read!)
Unless otherwise stated in the listing, returns will be accepted upon receipt of key(s) in exactly the same condition they were sent in. This will be verified. If they are in any way broken, worn, etc no refund will be issued and buyer can either pay to have item shipped to them again or forfeit the item entirely at their discretion.
Buyer must pay return shipping, and return must be post-dated no later than 14 days after receipt at your mailbox. Keep your return receipt.
Refunded price will be returned less a $5 fee on orders under $20, a $7 fee on orders over $20, a $10 fee on orders over $40, and a 25% fee on any order over $70 partly to cover the time and fuel cost involved, but also to discourage buyers who only want to open a lock one time to get what's inside or buy my whole stock just to try all the keys and return most later. I'm sorry to have to do that but it's part of the problem that comes with selling keys unfortunately!

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
