These are highly durable individually crafted potholders. They are lined with 6 layers of heavy weight insulating type material including thinsulate type. Easily can be used as hot pads as well as potholders. The design is of my own making and tested personally for many years before I settled on this design. I frequently cook with cast iron pans and have never had an issue with the heat coming through. These are machine washable with cold water and best if hung to dry or dry flat to maintain shape and color best.
