GREECE 50 DRACHMAS 2000 OFFICIAL BANK OF GREECE ROLL OF 40 COINS KM# 147 HOMER BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED SCARCE

Offered is a scarce official Bank of Greece thick paper roll of 50 drachmas 2000, KM# 147 (pictured). There are 40 brilliant uncirculated (BU) aluminum-bronze coins in the roll. Obverse: ancient trireme with face value and date below and the inscription "ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ" (HELLENIC REPUBLIC) at the top. Reverse: bust of Homer facing left, the legendary author of the two early Greek epic poems the Iliad and the Odyssey, lettering on the left in Greek "ΟΜΗΡΟΣ" (HOMER) and “K.K” below for the engraver Konstantinos Kazakos. The roll weighs 366 grams (12.9 oz.). The roll pictured is the one you will receive so please examine all pictures carefully.
