Available for sale is a pre-owned Mahjong game with wood tiles. Loring P. Rixford Importers manufactured this set in the 1940s.

Item comes in a great pyrographic box with the words "Moy Gam" on the sliding lid. 

The box cover has a carved indentation near the edge to use for easier opening.  The outside and inside of the box cover have the same beautiful carved design. The box edges are angle stripes which looks like rope. There is a dragon reptile skin design on the four sides of the box. The box is divided with a place for both tiles and (missing) wood betting sticks.

The tiles are wood.  The designs on the tiles are embossed (lightly) and painted. 

The tiles measure 1 3/16" x 13/16" x 1/2".

The box measures 7 7/8" x 5 6/8" x 3 5/8".

CONTENTS:

·        144 wood tiles with bright colors.

·        Pair of dice.
