Sir Ernest Shackleton's most famous vessel, the HMS Endurance, has been discovered! 

Shackleton's missions to the Antarctic and his race against Robert Falcon Scott are some of the greatest British adventure stories — even inspiring the likes of Sir Edmund Hillary.


Each of the three coins in this set has been struck from .925 Silver to a Proof finish with selective 24 Carat Gold-plate and colour print. The reverse of each of the coins depicts a portrait of Shackleton and represents each of the expeditions he led; the Nimrod Expedition, the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, and the Shackleton-Rowett Expedition.


And importantly, to mark the discovery of the HMS Endurance, JUST 100 of these coins have now been officially postmarked by Royal Mail with the date 9th March 2022.
