1LT ENGINE OIL MOTUL 8100 ECO-CLEAN 5W-30 ACEA C2 100% SYNTHETIC 9.55535-S1

100% synthetic high performance lubricant “fuel saving” developed for manufacturers who require the use of an oil with a low level of friction and HTHS viscosity (≥ 2.9 mPa.s) and with a reduced content of sulphated ash (≤0.8%), phosphorus (≤ 0.09%) and sulfur (≤0.3%), “Mid SAPS”. Therefore, always refer to the use and maintenance manual in case of uncertainty.

highly sensitive exhaust gases. Phosphorus and sulfur inhibit the operation of catalytic converters
consequently making the exhaust gas treatment ineffective; sulphated ashes clog particulate filters, causing a shorter regeneration cycle leading to faster oil ageing, increased
fuel consumption and decreased engine performance.
The ACEA C2 specification calls for fuel economy and low emissions from the lubricant. MOTUL 8100 ECO-CLEAN
5W-30 with its 100% synthetic formulation and with a reduced level of ash, allows at the same time to obtain
a high lubricant film strength, to reduce friction in the engine and to be compatible with modern systems
after-treatment of exhaust gases.
The FIAT 9.55535-S1 performance level requires ACEA C2 and SAE 5W30 oil in order to perfectly lubricate the
1.3L, 1.6L and 2.0L Multijet diesel engines from FIAT, ALFA-ROMEO and LANCIA produced since 2007, as well as some
Chrysler and Jeep models.
Some Asian manufacturers require an ACEA C2 lubricant for their newer diesel engines (since 2006). ensure maximum durability. Application examples of the Motul 8100 Eco-clean 5W-30 product are: TOYOTA 2.0L and 2.2L
D4D, HONDA 2.2 CDTI and DTEC, and SUBARU 2.0L D.
PSA for its specification B71 2290 requires a lubricant which resists the most severe thermal conditions and which is
compatible with modern exhaust gas aftertreatment systems. PSA specification B71 2290 is suitable for the
most petrol and diesel engines (including models with DPF), except for "BlueHDi" diesel engines.
The Motul 8100 ECO-CLEAN 5W-30 product meets the requirements of the PEUGEOT PSA B71 2290 specification
CITROEN & DS AUTOMOBILE for PSA cars up to 2017. For PSA cars from 2018 it must be
the product MOTUL SPECIFIC 2290 5W-30 was used as a lubricant.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Replacement interval: according to the manufacturers' instructions and to be adapted according to your use. Do not mix with lubricants that do not comply with the ACEA C2 standard. Before use, always refer to the use and maintenance manual of the car.
