Up for auction is an original vintage Native American sculpture by listed artist William Haney (b. 1943 - d. 2006).  Haney was a Native American artist of Seminole Creek heritage.

The bust is signed on the left side, towards the front and dated 1994.  The artists name and date are etched on the sculpture by hand.  The sculpture is HEAVY... weighing 8 - 9 lbs.  I believe it was carved out of alabaster as the artist has other works, some of which have sold at auction, carved from alabaster, sandstone and bronze.

The sculpture dates to 1994 and measures approximately 7.5" x 6.75" It has red felt on the bottom to protect the surface you'll set it on.
