Condition Statement
 
A) - General Note - We source pre-owned items from secret and mysterious places that have been buried in long-term storage. There may be signs of general wear and tear, light dust, and general signs of use in pre-owned items. Feel free to contact our online client care team with any questions. 
 
B) - Specific Condition - From a single owner for long periods in a smoke- and pet-free environment. This item and several camera types both film and digital came from the estate of an avid camera collector. Many types, makes, and models. We've tried your level best to describe what we can visually see and function test, however, our clients are best to understand that experienced or professional servicing may be required for optimal performance. 
 
Cosmetic:
 
The camera has been externally wiped clean and is free of dust, dirt, and debris on the outside. It does not appear to have any noticeable physical damage, deep scratches, cracks, or signs of abuse or neglect. This was however stored for decades in a display-only condition. We cannot say for certain when these were last serviced and cleaned internally. 
 
Please note the following: 
  • PARTS- All parts appear to be included in the body and lens including all screws. 
  • BATTERY COMPARTMENT - The battery compartment is clean of contact corrosion. There is however going to need to be a new battery installed. 
  • LENS & VIEWFINDER WINDOW - The best we can see is that the lens and internal body do not appear free of scratches, haze, or fungus. There is internal dust however inside the viewfinder. NOTE: There is a significant deformation of the lens outer threads where filters would thread on.
  • FOCUS RING TESTING- The focus and zoom ring. The focus ring turns smoothly all throughout the range. The zoom ring also turns smoothly throughout its range, too. There is little noticeable slack in the focus ring. 
  • DIALS & LEVERS - Dials and levers have been tested to move freely without any sticking. 
  • APERTURE RING - Turns smoothly throughout its range. 
  • SHUTTER TESTING - We fired the shutter at all of its shutter speeds and ensured that the shutter blades or curtains opened and close quickly. You should be able to see a little light through the lens even very fast.
  • Accessories: The leather case does have some tape holding it together and some signs of significant wear.
This also includes a form-fit original leather case. 
 
Please note that some item(s) may not be deliverable to rural addresses or PO boxes, but can be shipped and picked up at the UPS Store nearest you. To guard against porch piracy, as of Jan.1/2022 all items shipped by Cybersellers shall require tracking on delivery to reduce the risk of theft.
