Large Pall Mall Ware Oval Plate Platter - The Quay of the Piazzetta by Canaletto.

A large transfer decorated oval platter style plate which has only been used on display, though has rubbing to the gold edge through being cleaned. The transfer detail is in good condition. also an under glaze chip to the edge under the gold rim. 

Taken from the oil painting of the Entrance to the Grand Canal from the Molo - Venice by Italian artist Canaletto. (by which it is also known).

Measures approx.; 40cm by 32cm.
