Each hook takes about 14 hours to produce.
This is not a knife. This is a replacement for the thumb stud on the Benchmade 391 / 391BK / 391SBK Tactical Folder that allows the blade to auto-deploy upon removal from a pocket like the Emerson Wave feature. It also acts as a thumb-stop and can still be deployed like a traditional thumb stud.
One hook is included. The hooks may have small areas that are not anodized due to clamping required for anodization. There may be a slight gap around the hook as we design this in to allow our hooks to fit different knives and allow for variation due to our multiple processes that either add or remove material.

Installation instructions:
(You will need a T6 driver, a lighter, and optionally low-strength threadlocker)
Heat the original thumbstud screw for about 2-3 seconds with a lighter to soften the factory applied threadlocker (caution - it might be hot).
Use a T6 driver to remove the screw and thumbstud.
Put low strength threadlocker onto the threads of the screw (optional, prevents it from loosening over time).
Insert the screw into the recessed side of the replacement, then fit it into the blade.
Hold the replacement in place and tighten the screw.
