-Prevents the PCB shorting to the switcher when bumped

(mounted to cab as opposed to directly to front of P/S)

-Allows the use of multiple manufacturer power supplies

(not mandated to use HAPP style switching P/S)

-Much better contact allowing more current to reach the board-set

(dual 18ga. stranded copper tinned wire as opposed to 2/3 0.75mm contact points per bus- see pics of old green design - pics 10 &11 showing limited contact area)
