- This capable new shoe delivers a terrific balance of value and comfort, thanks to its well-cushioned foam and Gel midsole. Despite its minimal looks, the Blur isn't thin-soled or level enough for the barefoot crowd. What it does have, according to our testers, is a sweet underfoot feel. The outsole does away with the need for a stabilizing midfoot bridge by using a flat, grippy design that keeps the sole in contact with the ground as long as possible. This is a great tempo-run shoe for runners with normal to high arches.
