OPTICS:     *Some brand new lenses may occasionally have a slight amount of micro dust visible inside the lens elements. This is a result of the manufacturing process and will not affect image quality or resolution.  As a result, previously owned lenses like this one will generally exhibit the same consistence. Also, sometimes, some micro dust can be attracted to the glass surface, and it can be blown away.

10/10:  No dust or extraordinarily little if any. 

9/10:   A little amount being visible.

8/10:   Minor amount as expected for age, that will not affect any image quality.

7/10:   Moderate amount, will not affect any image quality.

6/10:  Normal amount as expected for age, that will not affect any image quality.

5/10 – 10/10: We do not carry any lens with this level. 

  Difference between Scratch and Cleaning Marks on Glasses

*Scratch on the Glass of a lens: You can feel when you gently run a fingernail across it. A scratch mark if it is deep enough may affect image quality.

*Hairline/cleaning marks on the Glass of a lens: It is only on the coating and cannot be felt. They will not refract light and won’t affect any image quality.

 Mint: Pre-owned as displaying virtually no or very little imperfections.    

 Near Mint:  Pre-owned as displaying minor signs of use and wear, insignificant cosmetic blemishes.       

 Excellent+:  Pre-owned as displaying slight signs of use and wear, insignificant cosmetic blemishes.

 Excellent:  Pre-owned as displaying small signs of use and wear, insignificant cosmetic blemishes.

Very Good:  Pre-owned as displaying moderate signs of use and wear, insignificant cosmetic blemishes.

Users:  Pre-owned as displaying normal, insignificant cosmetic blemishes.

As Is:  Pre-owned as displaying poor and significant cosmetic blemishes.

 Since the item is not available for your physical inspection, it is our policy to offer you detailed descriptions of each item and up-load up to 12 photo images, taken from various angles.  These photos are not altered nor modified by any means.  Please take your time in reading the descriptions and examine the images carefully. Although we have tried to describe the item as accurately as possible, we might have missed something that may be important to you. Thus, you are highly encouraged to ask any questions before your final commitment to buy. 

For us to provide you with a sense of security and confidence, we inspect every item by taking following 3 steps.

1. Before we acquire an item, we ask a seller for detail descriptions in optical, cosmetic, and technical conditions if the seller’s descriptions are very brief and limited.  

2. Upon receipt of an item, we carefully inspect the item to make sure that the item is in the same condition as described by a seller.

3. When the item is ready to be listed in our eBay store and our website, we again inspect the item to make sure that the item is ready to be listed with detail descriptions.  The list price is determined based on the condition of the item. 

4. When an item is sold and paid, we make a final inspection of the item to ensure that the item is in the same condition as we have described before packing. After a final inspection is made, we will prepare an invoice, which includes the final inspection report.

NOTE:  The focusing and aperture ring movement will be recorded to prove their proper functions, which will be used for our future reference in case a buyer claims the problems.  

 If we find any discrepancies before packing the item, we will notify a buyer of discrepancies and offer you with the following options:

1.  We will cancel your purchase and issue a full refund if you are no longer interested in the item.

2.  We will offer you a replacement lens with equal or higher value if a buyer prefers to this option.

RETURN POLICY (Please read carefully).

 The return policy set forth by eBay in 2018 states that certain product categories have unique retail standards, and that seller will be able to offer variations on the new return policy options. Our products are in the category of CAMERAS & PHOTO, and they are included in unique retail standards. Since an item is previously used and sold as is, there may be minor discrepancies or oversight in descriptions.  

Please understand:  Description is based on the seller’s standards, which may be different from yours. If you have any questions/inquiries, pease feel free to contact me at earliest time possible. 

In the item in your order is SIGNIFICANTLY different from what described or has been damaged in transit, you must notify the problem immediately to the seller within 4 days of receipt.  When the seller acknowledges your claim, you have a maximum of 30 days before you send it back to the seller.  

This does not mean that you can keep or use the item for 30 days free.  Longer you wait to send it back,  you will be charged with the usage/restocking fee.

Please take the following steps:

• Contact us within 4 days upon receipt of this item, if it is SIGNIFICANTLY different from what has been described. Since this is a vintage used item, there may be some minor discrepancies which are normal for its age. 
•  Keep all packaging materials to send an item back or take photos of the item if you want to use your own packing.
• We will follow up on your case within 2 business days upon receipt of your claim.

The followings are excluded from FREE RETURN.

1.    When you falsely report that an item is not what is described or damaged.

2.    When you buy the item with intention to use it for any projects and then want to return the item for a full refund.  

3.    When you claim for something not offered in the original listing.

4.    When you simply change your mind, don’t like the item, or find another identical item which is less expensive than what you have paid.

 If you claim a full or partial refund with any of these exclusions which are described above, we are entitled to deduct some percentage from the purchase price including the shipping cost.  The amount of deduction is determined depending on the type of exclusion stated above.
