The C4-AMP108 is designed to connect to Control4's HDMI and audio matrix switches, powering local speakers with the incredible audio experience you expect from Control4. Create a playlist for your next barbecue, and your 8-zone amp will push incredible sound quality to every speaker around the party zone. Invite everyone over for a movie, and make your guests feel like they're sitting inside the action.
The powerful 8-Zone Power Amplifier manages up to eight analog line audio inputs and up to eight zone outputs, including a global line input and output. Its power standby mode, automatic fault detection and system reset protects the amp and speakers from damage.
The AMP108 has eight channels of fully discrete output stages providing 30 watts per channel at 8 ohms or 40 watts per channel at 4 ohms. Or you can bridge paired channels for a total of 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms. This unit came to us without feet, so we have installed some low-profile rubber pads to protect your surfaces, they are easily removed for rack-mounting. Packing a big punch in a small package, the AMP108 weighs just over 13 lbs and measures 17.32” × 3.43” × 9.69” (WHD). 
NOTE: This Control4 amp uses Phoenix Connectors for speaker connection, we are including two for connecting two zones, you will need to provide more connector to use the remaining outputs. Two plugs for the trigger circuits are also included!

Condition:
This beautiful amp is in "Very Good" condition with minor signs of use. Aside from a few minor scratches to the lid, the only thing worth mentioning are a few light scratches to the front panel that are too faint to make out well in the pics. Comes with all accessories, including Rackmount Kit w/ hardware, eight Phoenix speaker plugs, two Phoenix trigger plugs and AC Cord. The manual has gone missing but no worries, it can be found online or we will send you the PDF file directly on request. Please inspect the pictures thoroughly for actual condition.  
Service:
This model has a known issue issue with certain power supply capacitors failing. So, whether or not they are currently working, our tech upgrades the capacitors with six brand new overrated, high-quality Rubycon caps, no used or NOS parts! While open, all other electrolytic caps were inspected for bulging or leakage and all PC boards were inspected with all questionable solder joints re-flowed. It's preventative servicing like this that makes it smart to buy from a seller with an experienced, in-house technician!
Testing:
Once serviced, we set this up on our test bench and it passed with flying colors! It powered right up, pumping out a clear, distortion-free audio from all channels with no hum or buzz! All rear-panel controls and features work correctly. All inputs and outputs have been confirmed working. Further testing was performed, if there is a specific test you would like us to do just let us know before buying. What a great find on a quality piece of equipment!

Please remember, there are multiple ways to measure output wattage, "Peak," "Music," "RMS", "Continuous," "Maximum," & "Total" just to name a few. In addition, this value can change drastically depending on the impedance of the speakers being driven. Typically, our title will give the most reasonable "Total watts" value, while the description will give more detailed information. We suggest you do independent research to be assured you are making informed comparisons when shopping.

Return Policy

Item can be exchanged, new items within 30 days, used items within 14 days, if defective or not as described, full refund of purchase price if exchange is not available.

The Best, Ltd. will issue a pre-paid return label, or make pre-arranged reimbursement for return shipping expenses on returns completed per this policy. Return shipping cost is not to exceed original shipping cost.
