James Wyle the Younger (1812-87) inherited his fathers successful map publishing business in London and continued to prosper during the second half of the 19th Century.  He produced a wide range of maps and atlases, both engraved in house and by other cartographers.  This map of Cornwall is part of a successful range of pocket travel maps.  It was devised and engraved by Edward Weller (active 1850-84).


Page size is 50cm by 33.5cm.  Case 17cm by 9cm.
Map area is in good condition for age, engravings are clear. Some browning. Slight wear to map and case.
