The length of the release cable is 27 1/4 inches in total, with the exposed wire length from the clip to the end measuring approximately 3 inches, and a Z-shaped tip on the exposed wire that connects to the recliner mechanism release trigger. Please note that Lane recliners switched from a hoop end to a Z-shaped tip in 2014, so it is important to carefully examine the tip to ensure compatibility.
