This is an authentic New York City subway sign used in service (with traces of authentic dust, dirt, and scuffs!)

This sign would have been mounted at station from my research the sign is over 50 years old.

The location depicted is New Lots Avenue, that of the #3 service in Brooklyn (and the #4 during late nights). This was once the terminus of the #2 line before a switch of service patterns.
