Up for sale is this rare Lehigh Valley Railroad can. I am not sure how much it holds. My guess is between 2 & 2 1/2 gallons. The Eagle name is on the top and the Lehigh R.R. badge/logo is on the side. A nice feature is both companies names are raised letters. I am not sure what the purpose of the while around the Lehigh badge. I cleaned the can and applied Fluid Film to the entire outside of the can, the chain, both sides of the cap and the handle. Fluid Film is a great rust and corrosion preventative. The overall condition of the can is good. There are plenty of dents, some light rust that is still present and a couple of pin holes on the bottom of the can. However, if stored inside and not used it will most likely be around long after even with youngest buyer. The handle is very sold and the original chain is still firmly attached. Also, the spout is also firmly attached. The can measures 10 in. (including the cap). The diameter of the can is 9 in.
