There are so many things you can do with just a snippet of a textile and what better way to make use of a textile than using a historic vintage and antique textile for which to showcase and express your inner old soul. I love framing large swaths of these fun and crazy textiles...I have full wall art pieces throughout my house...people stop in front of them like museum pieces...you should check them out on my instagram page Floridabungalowfabrics where I have added inspirational photos! I could imagine this one framed in a modern white acrylic to really pull from the white accent...with a couple color pops as a accent with matting or added colored frame accent pieces you can add inside the clunky white frame. This offering is for 2,2YDS x 45 inches wide of a 60's crepe fabric...medium weight...some texture...but not that of a traditional barkcloth...check my photos and see the texture for yourself. A fantastic design featuring a Twiggy 60's take on chandeliers...tear drops...paisley with an abstract geometric vibe that makes it all look like the shapes are melting. But of the design doesn't blow you away...the colors might...a deep dark orchid purple...magenta pink...chartreuse yellow...avocado lime...with white accents and black lines. There is a tag attached that says "Newberry's ". This is brand new old stock in flawless condition. You won't believe your eyes.
