To insert batteries into the wireless controller AA battery pack:  positive (+) and negative (–) ends positioned as shown on the underside of the battery pack ,do not recommend battary pack.
2,Connect controller to console
Press and hold down the Xbox Guide button until the controller turns on.
If your console is not on, press the Power button to turn on the console
Press and release the sync button on the console.
Press and release the sync button on the controller.
 After the Ring of Light on the controller and console spin and flash once, the controller is connected
 
 
Second time pairing is more simple,just plug the receiver ,press home button,then it will paired
