Product Description 
This Arca-type quick release plate is designed to adapt a camera to an Arca-type compatible QR clamp and protect the camera's data port while tethered to a computer or hard drive. The top surface of the plate are grooves that can channel a section of data cable into one end of the plate's length and out the other before the plate is attached to a compatible camera. This allows a USB or FireWire cable that is connected to a camera's data port for tethered photography to be secured under the camera and within the plate, preventing tension due to accidental tugging or tripping on data cable from causing abrupt and incorrectly-angled detachment of cable from camera data port. Moreover, it features two unthreaded holes for direct connection to a device with 1/4"-20 female accessory threads by using the included 1/4"-20 bolts.
