The Hsility PTZ Controller works to control all ptz cameras in lan. and switch the livestream image to the audiences.

In order to hook it up to your exist system, please change the Hsility ptz controller IP to the same IP range of the camera(not the same), see the IP above of the camera. and you could search the camera on controller after you turned on the camera on vif protocol. and then add all of them.

How to turn on the camera on-vif adminstrator user?

This PTZ keyboard support all devices that have standard IP protocol. Make sure you have turned on the camera IP protocol and created IP adminstrator user in your camera. Or you can not search the camera due to the camera IP protocol turned off, or could add but can not control because you add the IP video user or operator only.

We take For Hikvision security camera for example to show how to create IP adminstrator users. Please do the same in your camera so as to be added in the keyboard smoothly.

How to add cameras to the keyboard?

After you connected the camera to the lan and turned on the camera IP user, you could search the camera in lan and add
After you connected the camera to the lan and turned on the camera IP user and you have got the camera IP, port #, and on-vif user name and password, then you could add the camera manually.
If you could map your IP devices to the public network, then you could add the camera IP address,port # and user name and password, then you could control the devices remotely. But there may be delay for the camera to move as there is long way for the signal to go. (not recommended)

Statement For the reserved RS232 and RS422 port:

The PTZ keyboard is solid made and built with IP protocol and RJ45(network cable interface). So your camera should support the IP protocol and have RJ45 interface too, then the keyboard should work. The RS232 and RS422 is reserved for the customized. We keep it for those who want connect to RS232 and RS422 interface with other protocol customers.
