Commemorative Jackie Robinson Walking Cane Folk Art. This cane is 36" to the handle & the handle is 1 1/4" thick. It says the following on the cane. Cane overall is decent shape however it does have a flaw on the handle a small splinter of wood sticks out and could be uncomfortable to put weight on so this is more of a decor display item.

"Jackie Robinson in 1947. Robinson signed a contract with the Brooklyn dodgers. Integrating the team to become the first African American to play for major league baseball. Despite death threats. Players who taunted and attacked him and fans who mocked him he persevered with his dramatic style of play and showed the world that baseball was bigger than bigotry. In college was a lettered varsity athlete in basketball football and track and baseball stole 197 baseline his career with the Brooklyn dodgers 19 of them from home"
