These fabulous and extravagant earrings are hand-made in Seville by Dublos. Their pieces are all hand-crafted by artisans and finished to a very high standard. They are a company very much inspired by the Flamenco-tradition of Andalusia and many of their pieces are based on the colours and elaborate patterns of traditional Spanish Flamenco dresses and jewellery. These earrings are typical of their work. A collection of rhinestones and beads are wired onto a lacy faux tortoiseshell base and fitted with a 'French clip' for pierced ears. The 'French clip' is a style exclusively associated with fine quality jewellery and is comfortable and practical as there are no loose fittings to go missing. The earrings contain and reflect many different colours but the main ones are a glistening watery aquamarine, deep green and several shades of pink.
The earrings are spectacularly big at 10cm long and 3.5cm across the widest point but, because they are structurally light, they are not at all heavy or uncomfortable to wear. They are in immaculate condition with zero flaws and both pieces are clearly signed Dublos on the reverse.
Please note that the vintage brooch in the final image is not included with the earrings. I have photographed them together because there is a 'family resemblance' so they make a lovely combination. The brooch is by 'Hollywood' and is for sale separately so do please have a look at my other listings for this and many more vintage pieces you may like.
