PCGS authenticated and graded MS 62 BN. Frosty light olive and steel. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas and this cent has mint state eye appeal in spite of a hint of rub on the highest points of the portrait. Just a few trivial marks including a small spot of darker toning (not carbon) under the 9, a tiny tick midway between the chin and star 2, and some ticks along the edge of the nose. MDS. There is a faint die crack from the lower edge of the bust towards star 1 and the repunching at the right top of the N in UNITED is still clear. Tied for CC#7 in the Noyes census, his photo #25227.
