For auction is a vintage 'New Model Clearvue' registering bank made by the Earl Service for Banks Company of Melrose, Mass. The bank is a promotional piece for the Fall River Five Cents Savings Bank of Fall River, Mass. The bank was incorporated on April 10th, 1855, and was located on the Corner of north Main and Bank Streets. On the front of the bank is a riveted plaque with a fine architectural rendering of the bank building. Above the Plaque is a slot marked Bills. On the back side are coin slots for Quarters, Dimes, Nickels, and Halves. There is a coin in the nickel slot. It is signed on the bottom. It does not have a key. It's about 3.75" wide x 2.125" tall x 2" deep.
It's in rough condition with lots of wear and tear including scuffs, scratches, and dings. There is no key The pictures are an important part of the description, please check them out.
