Lingua Angelica is an excellent Christian Latin reading and translation course. By using Latin hymns and prayers with simple sentences and clearer word structure than most Latin literature, this course is the ideal starting point for beginning Latin translation. The Teacher Manual contains well-written instructions on how to use the course in addition to a complete copy of the Student Book with answers, making the teacher’s job easier. Lingua Angelica covers 24 beautiful hymns sung by a six-voice Gregorian chant choir. All 4 Latin prayers and 12 of the Latin hymns are covered in Lingua Angelica I.

Lingua Angelica is designed for all ages, so even preschoolers can learn to sing and memorize Latin hymns. More advanced students will study various examples of Latin syntax and grammar by translating the complete hymns.
