Heraldic Art medal struck by Robert McNamara via his Heraldic Art Company of Cleveland, Ohio, who wished to provide a series of high quality commemorative coins for collectors after the Mint stopped its commemorative program in 1954.  This specific piece was issued in 1964 to commemorate tercentenary for New Jersey's statehood.  Struck in 0.925 fine silver.  This is issue number 15 out of a "regular issue" series of 60 pieces which ran from 1959 through 1978 (an addition 7 "special occasion" pieces also were struck during this time period.  This piece comes with the original paper envelope of issue which is numbered 4309.  The medal is displays subtle shades of ice-blue and yellow-gold and the paper envelope is in excellent condition.
