Tabriz rugs have been made by using traditional methods and natural dyes that have been used since the early 18th century. Not only does this rug have a rich history behind it, but it is a truly beautiful piece as well. This rug is 8'2" x 11'9' and will add a touch of refinement and luxury to any home. It features pure wool pile on a cotton foundation with silk accents at 400+KPSI resulting in an extremely soft, detailed and durable rug. 

The tones of red, blue, gold, rose, and green create an intricate floral design and the pile is medium which means it’s easy to care for. The rug was recently cleaned (a $2000 service) and appraised at $17,350.00. There is some subtle natural fading due to the age of the rug which is to be expected and which is clearly shown in the images. This has a been a family heirloom for a few generations and we are hoping to send it to a loving home where it will get the care it so richly deserves.
