The item is sold as is, as found and as you see it. The teapot is made by Wilcox Silverplate and in an Egyptian revival. There is a pharoah head ornament on top of handle. There is a different head in the feet of teapot. The pot has an etched side design in panels and bands design. The teapot looks quite old. The surface is heavily tarnished; I purchased it this way so condition is under the tarnish so hard to say. The spout perimeter on the wall seems a bit sunken in; not sure if it was made that way. The inside has black oval like dark shapes in the silverplate; may or may not clean. The inside will have scratches at bottom interior and on the inside opening and under lid. The underside may have scratches. SOLD AS IS. The detail in the pot alone makes it worth it. Hinged lid, tarnish can vary, sometimes spotted in patches. I left alone. The finial looks slightly angled and see all pics before purchase. Measures 9" X 7.25" X 5 5/8" X 3.5" opening.
