The Lilliput Lane company under the leadership of David Tate was responsible for some of the most endearing decorative ornaments in the past 50 years. The main theme being of buildings, and specifically, those buildings that may be found in one of Englands many ancient villages. Lilliput Lane products have received many accolades including the accuracy of the architectural construction of the ornaments and the attention to detail that each model receives as it was painted by hand in the Cumbrian factory.

Indeed if you take a look at the Deeds you will see the signature of the artist who painted the model.

Additionally on the rear of the Deeds Certificate is a brief history of where the original pattern for the Little Dog Lost Cottage is located; in this case the historic village of Tiverton in Devon.

The Little Dog Lost Cottage was made in 2002 by the Lilliput Lane Company. You can even see the Little Lost Dog of the title in one of the photos above.

This model comes complete with its box and the Deeds and instructions on how to join the Collectors Club.

We have several of the Lilliput Lane houses for sale this month, so please take the time to have a look at those.

Thanks for looking in.
