A studio pottery slab tray by Ellen Fager with a marbled slip decorated surface. Fager is a wonderfully talented ceramicist and member of the Allied Craftsmen of San Diego and San Diego Potters' Guild. Form and glaze treatment of this piece are similar to those used by her late husband Ed Thompson. However, this piece is clearly marked with her EF cypher on the bottom.
