An absolutely stunning morgan dollar in near perfect condition. Although relatively common in mint state condition, the 81-S is rarely found in such a lofty grade, let alone with CAC endorsement. A few minor ticks on the obverse hide exceptionally well, only standing out upon close inspection with a strong loupe. The reverse is immaculate, and subtle album toning around the edge of the coin frames both sides well.

You probably have an image in mind when you hear the words "cartwheel luster". I can assure you one turn of this coin in hand under a lamp will give that term a completely new meaning.
